Housed in the “Oldest Railroad Station in America,” the Ellicott City B&O Railroad Station Museum offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience life in 19th-century America.



Its year-round, award winning living history program takes place in the restored rooms of this one-of-a-kind 1830 railroad building.  On display are artifacts and private collections.  An 1885 Freight House features an operating  40ft. HO scale model of the first thirteen miles of railroad in America and audio visual programs.  There is a 1927 Caboose to climb aboard and a gift shop for browsing.
